According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, Russia's pre-2030 electric vehicle industry development plan shows that by 2030, Russia will build at least 72,000 electric vehicle charging stations.
The program is implemented in two phases: 2021-2024 and 2025-2030.
In the first phase of planning and implementation, Russia plans to launch at least 9,400 charging stations, of which at least 2,900 are fast charging stations.
Another key indicator for the first phase is that the production of electric vehicles reaches the level of at least 25,000 vehicles per year.
In the second phase, Russia plans to build and operate at least 72,000 charging stations, of which at least 28,000 are fast charging stations, according to the plan.
According to the balanced development plan of charging station infrastructure, by 2030, Russia will build 144,000 charging piles, each of which can charge 10 electric vehicles at the same time.
The plan stipulates that in order to ensure uninterrupted driving, the distance between the two nearest charging stations on the general road should not exceed 100 kilometers.
